Admission to Our Lady’s Bishop Eton RC Primary School Reception Year September 2022

Our Lady’s Bishop Eton Primary School is a Catholic School under the trusteeship of the Archdiocese of Liverpool. It is maintained by Liverpool City Council. As a Voluntary Aided School, the Governing Body is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for taking decisions on applications for admissions. The co-ordination of admissions arrangements is undertaken by the Local Authority. For the school’s current school year, the Governing Body has set its admissions number at 60.

The window for making an application is now open. Parents/carers are required to make an online application through the education authority where they live i.e. Liverpool, Knowsley etc. The closing date is the 15th January 2022. Information about how to apply for a Reception place is available at:

Please note that along with submitting your application through your local authority, parents/carers have to complete a school Supplementary Faith Form. This can be obtained from the school office or downloaded from the school’s website. This has to be completed and returned, by email, to reception22@ourladysbishopeton.com by the closing date, 15th January 2022. Applications will only be accepted via this email. If you have any difficulties with this please contact the school office.

We are holding an Admissions Meeting on 12th October 2021, between 4pm and 5pm. Parents/carers are welcome to come along, meet the teachers and listen to a presentation about our provision. Application packs will be available to take away. These will also be made available to download from our website.

Please send electronic copies of your application documents, listed below, to reception22@ourladysbishopeton.com

  • Supplementary Faith Form
  • Proof of baptism (please note that children MUST be baptised before the closing date, 15th January, 2022, to be ranked as a baptised catholic child).
  • Birth Certificate
  • 2 documents to support proof of address (acceptable documents are your latest council tax statement or recent, within 3 months, utility bill such as gas, electric or water)
