Our School Council work hard to represent the voice of the children and staff in our school community leading charity fundraisers, spreading awareness of global issues and helping to ensure that our school is a safe and happy place.
The projects are lead by the children themselves and focus on three areas:
– School Community
– Local community
– Global Community
The School Council play a valuable role in our school community and beyond and we are always proud of the values they promote and share in the work that they do.
This School Pupil Council are shown below:
Head Boy and Head Girl
When the children reach Y6, Head Boy and girl of the school are chosen by their peers. These children then represent the school when important visitors arrive and act as ambassadors for the school. Each Y6 Class Votes for their own Head Boy and Head Girl.
E-Cadets
E-Cadets is a scheme designed to help children learn about and develop an awareness of “Safe” use of the Internet and World Wide Web.
As a responsible school we support this and each year select a team of children from various year groups to take part in a dedicated programme of Internet Education. This is a LINK TO THE ECADETS WEBSITE.
