Collective Worship

April 4, 2018

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the week before the Christmas break, the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes were involved in three separate Collective Worship services held in the school hall.

The services involved the children illustrating the Christmas Story in song and acting out various roles. Parents and carers were invited to be part of the service and to witness their children.

Each followed a similar pattern, with Mrs Bostock and Fr Tim introducing the service before handing over to the the children. The teachers and support staff had obviously prepared the children well for their roles. All three of these services were equally meaningful and enjoyable.

Mr Pearson worked tirelessly behind the scenes operating the PA system, the Powerpoint projected backdrop and the music soundtracks.

The following photo’s show the children dressed up in costumes from the nativity and gathered together for photographs after the services.[/vc_column_text][us_separator][us_image image=”519″ size=”full” align=”center” animate=”afc”][us_separator][us_image image=”520″ size=”full” align=”center” animate=”afc”][us_separator][us_image image=”521″ size=”full” align=”center” animate=”afc”][us_separator][us_image image=”522″ size=”full” align=”center” animate=”afc”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
